Awesome Day Of ADVENTURE
We’re working with our friends from First Step Outdoors to bring an outdoor experience to our tamariki and rangatahi. They’re totally onboard with our kaupapa, and love sharing the outdoors and nature with out next generation of great humans.
This is an exclusive race day experience aimed at whanau taking part in the PTR, but also open to the general public. There are three activities lined up for the day: rock climbing, abseiling, and zip-lining.
We’ll be operating a revolving station situation, with participants cycling through the acitivity stations on the hour. It’s a great way to keep the young fellas entertained at Race HQ!
For the event in 2024, The Awesome Day of Adventure will begin at 11am and conclude at 2pm. We’ve limited it to 36 youth (<18) in a first in first served basis. So if your whippersnappers are interested, head on over to book now!
Tickets are heavily subsidised by the event and First Step Outdoors so they’re going to set you back the price of two Auckland coffees, $15.
We have a minimum age of 5 and if your youngsters are under 12 then we’ll require them to have a guardian present. We were going to get Davina to supervise, but she thought using zipliners as archery targets was a good use of resources... Davina, calm down.
